What is Sunder?
Sunder is a dying world inhabited by all sorts of fantastic beings: scheming thieves, powerful sorceresses, wicked kings, and the heroic adventurers who thwart their plans. Vast, endless wastes are littered with the bones of titans. Ancient empires crumble beneath the fell sun. And those unfortunate few who yet live struggle in the shadow of a terrible new threat…
What kind of stories can I expect?
You can expect serialized fiction set in the world of Sunder. Right now, two stories are being released over the course of 2023: Cynmorra of the Wastes, a dying world twist on sword and sorcery, and Flintjaw, Gunslinger and Madman, a dying world twist on weird west ficiton.
How often can I expect stories?
Stories will be published weekly, each numbering 500-1000 words. Some will be stand-alone vignettes, but most will be serials like you’d see in old pulp magazines.
A note on artwork
Because Mythoforce is being run as a serial and an homage to old pulp magazines of yore, I’m including AI generated artwork to add a bit of pizazz. It’s not the focus of Mythoforce so I don’t spend a ton of time on it. My hope is that one day I’ll make enough money from writing that I can cover the costs of hiring a real artist and pay someone to bring Sunder to life.
